Explore builds and repairsI got my start doing technical lead work in school theater: building sets, hanging lights, setting up sound, and helping put on our student festival, Zeitgeist. That led me to recording at Omega Studios, live sound at Blues Alley, and corporate AV at The Watergate Hotel. I still like the hands-on part of the job—listening, tracing a problem, and making the setup work for the people using it.
I want the musicians to feel comfortable and the production team to know what’s happening. For me, that means listening first, communicating clearly, and getting the basics right before adding more equipment or processing.
